We’re excited to announce two exclusive new DRY wines hitting our Tasting Room on January 21st!
2022 Bubble Swarm, Only 164 Bottles Left.
Our fourth vintage of Bubble Swarm is ready to shine! Crafted using the méthode champenoise, this sparkling wine is made from our golden Pisgah Vidal Blanc grapes and undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, creating delightful, large bubbles and classic champagne-like qualities. Finished with our signature bidule bottle cap, it guarantees the perfect pop!

Our second collaboration with Parker-Binns Vineyards showcases the finest fruits from this spectacular 2022 vintage. This blend of Petit Verdot, Lemberger, and Merlot reflects the unique characteristics of each grape, sourced from vineyards separated by a 1,000-foot elevation difference. The result is a distinctive, well-rounded red that is sure to impress. The perfect addition to your collection, whether you’re visiting the Tasting Room or shopping online.

Marked Tree will showcase the North Carolina AVA, Crest of the Blue Ridge, in Winston-Salem at the Taste of NC alongside many other North Carolina wineries! So many choices! Each winery has teamed up with a local chef to curate delectable small bites at every stop. Marked Tree at the Triangle Wine and Food Experience in Raleigh!
Marked Tree is thrilled to be invited to participate in "The Main Event" on Saturday, February 1st. Marked Tree will be pouring wine alongside some of the country’s brightest culinary talent(think James Beard Award winning)and coveted wineries(think James Suckling top rated) from around the world! Marked Tree will showcase North Carolina wine and gather with the other world class wineries under one roof for an unmissable food and beverage experience. After tastings there is a Live Auction where guests will raise their paddles and bid generously on difficult to find wines and unmatched experiences. Marked Tree donated TWO BEAUTIFUL MAGNUMS, Yes Magnums, we have only made 24 bottles of each 2022 Watershed and 2022 Bubble Swarm Magnums..... so very special. Hope to see you there! February Bottles and Bonfire!
Saturday, February 15th 2pm-5pm
Let's cozy up next to the fires! We will be lighting our large bonfire on Sandy Ridge across from the tasting room and setting up a bar to pour glasses and bottles of your favorite wine! Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy over at the bonfire!
*Chairs and picnics are not allowed at the tasting room and can only be used at the bonfire!

Get your STeps in with a Vineyard Walking Tour and Wine Tasting!
Get your steps in with a guided vineyard tour and a wine tasting! Enjoy our seasonal wine tasting while walking through the vines with a member of the Marked Tree team. Explore the terroir of our AVA- Crest of the Blue Ridge. Learn about the history of Marked Tree and the changing seasons of the vineyard. Wear your comfy shoes and we will provide the open vistas. Tour takes about 30-45 minutes. A perfect way to start the day! Weather permitting.
$35.00 per person and comes with a seasonal tasting. Friday through Sunday at 12pm. Reservations required.

From Greenville/ Spartanburg take I-26 to exit 53 onto Upward Road. Drive 2.6 miles and turn right onto Deep Gap Road. Continue on Deep Gap Road .75 mile entrance on the left.
From Asheville take I-40W to I-26E. Drive 22 miles to exit 53, turn left onto Upward Road. Drive 2.6 miles turn right onto Deep Gap Road. Continue on Deep Gap Road .75 mile entrance on the left.
From Burntshirt Vineyard turn left out of gate drive .5 mile, turn right on to Blue House Road. Drive 1 mile and turn right onto Ridge road drive .6 mile road becomes Upward road. Continue straight 1.1 miles to Deep Gap road, turn left.Continue on Deep Gap Road .75 mile entrance on the left.
